THE LATEST. [Received June 20, 1.15 p.m.] London, June 20,
The Pall Mail Gazette today denies the truth of the statement recently current that a large body of Gallas was to be despatched from Abyssinia to relieve the Egyptian garrison at Kasaola. The Gazette states that King Johanne of Abyssinia has only undertaken to facilitate the retreat of the garrison from that town, aud not to send a force to its relief. Detachments of the Royal Engineers are now, under orders to proceed froAi Chatham to Egypt without delay. The actual destination of the force is not yet known. - !
