In the House of Lords to-day, Earl Granville was questioned regarding the proKress which has been made in connection with the negotiations for holding the projected Conference on Egyptian affairs, la reply Lord Granville stated that an agreement had been come to with th. French Government as to the basis upon which the proceedings of the Conference should take place, and the .natter bad been submitted for the consideration of the other European Powers.
