SCUL LING MATCH BETWEEN HANLAN AND HEARN. [BY TELEGRAPH.-PRESS ASSOCIATION.]

Wellington, Wednesday. The offer made by a Wellington resident to match Heurn, the New Zealand champion sculler, against Hanlan has been accepted by the latter, and the match will be rowed in the Wellington Harbour over a 3^ mile course. The stake is £200 aside, Hanlan receiving £50 as expenses for coming heie, and two-thirds of whatever is taken in gate mooey. A meeting of Hearu's supporters is to be called to inaugurate a subscription list, and make necessary arrangements. No date has ;yet been fixed for the match, but it is expected to be rowed towards the end of August.
