Newland, " That Mi Hay act a*, the solicitor for the Waikato business of the Noith New Zealand Faimeis' Co-operative Association until the next general meeting of the shaioholders, and that Mv Colcinan act as solicitor foi the association m Auckland." (1) Moved bv Mi Newland and seconded by Mr W. H. Walhs, "That Mr S. Vaile's offer to dehvor a lectuie under the auspice-, of the association bo accepted with th.i.iks, .and that Mi Newland adusc Mr YVulc of the same.'' (5) Moved by Mr Fonest, seconded by Mi Newland, "That the directois keep in view in tho futuio the erection of a floui mill in connection with the granary as a veiy deniable business to go into." ((5) Proposed by Mr Foirest, seconded uy Mi Day, " That the manager be instiucted not to advance any moneys under clause 5 of ,ai tide . r >7" (which leads, That it shall be one of the duties of fche directors to make advances on crops growing and to grow.) The directors discussed at some length the question of keeping the accounts of custonieis, with a view to the distubuticn of the bonus, it having been stated that an elaborate system of accounts would be lequued. It was explained that all that was necessary was that each customer should be piovided with a pass-book, in which the purchases could be set down. The meeting laated the greater pait of the day, and a large amount of routine woik was got through. An e.xtraoi dinary meeting of the shaieholders will be held .at the office, of the Association, Hamilton, to-day, to decide the question of voting.
