The Wool Sales. London, June 12. The wool suctions clo.scd to-day. The market is animated, and prices have an upward tendency.
[Recehod June 13, 2 -50 p.m.] Commercial. London, June 12. Consols remain at par e\ div. The bank late remains at 2\, and tnc maiket late at 2^ per cent. The bank leseive is £1.3,300,000. an increase of £70,000 flaring the week. The propoi tion of leseive to liabilities is still 47 per cent. Colonial breadstuff : Adelaide Vhe.it ii selling at 40s (>il for off coast cargoes. Quotations ex granary for Adelaide and New Zealand wheat flour are unchanged. Tlic wool auctions closed to day. The total quantity sold during the seuod was 320,000 bales, and 35,000 bales lias c bot-n held over. Greasy wools clooed at la-=t sales closing rates ; cross bieds are a halfpenny higher than, at the clohe of the Fcbiiiaiy-ALuch auctions j fleece wools, closed ii regularly.
