Nfav York, June 11. Thk forthcoming election to the Presidency of the United Btates continues to excite considerable interest in all parts of the country. The Hon. Samuel J. Tilden has been asked to contest the election, but has declined to offer himself as a candidate. The Marquis and Marchioness of Normanby and suite have ni lived heie, en route to London, and wiU continue their iournev on the ISth in&t.
London, June 11. It is announced that Turkey will abstain ftom sending a delegate to the Isuropean Conference) unless the discus sion on the Egyptian affahs be entirely unlimited, or unless a previous entente be come to with England as to the basis of the settlement to be arrived at by the Power.
Brussels, June 11. In the elections to the Chamber of Representatives, which are now proceeding in this country, the Liberal candidates have been everywhere defeated by the Clerical.
Brussels, June 11. The success of the Clerical party at the recent elections has been ill received in tins city, and serious anti-clerical riots occurred to-day, but were suppressed by the police.
