AxO!Phek good tiial crushing of ten trucks of stone from the Phumk mine having given the handsome return of 17ozs. retoited gold, and as there will be fully 3ozs. more fiom the tilings now being treated, the total yield will be equal to 2ozs. per truck. The gold, too, is of a very good quality, worth 63s or 60s an ounce. .' The contractors having driven through the reef in the new low level of the New Find, work has been discontinued at present until the winze is through the reef, which is fully 4ft. thick.
