A si'fcCi.vL meeting of the above boaul was, held at Cambudge on SatuuLiv evening last, for the purpose of accepting tendeis for diainago woiks m the dibtiict. For the fOlf 01 mation of the proposed dram from No 1. Station Road to No. "2. Station Road, only two tenders weie accepted; that of C. Ciouch's of s ',d, d pci jaid, and (Jeoige Vieker at (5 J ,d pei yaid. The foimer was accepted. Respecting the di,una<je of the dibtiict, in the \ ioimty of Mi John Runciman's .uid Mr Selby's tarms. the Eonrd appiovccl of the pmidple Waited by. Mr Runcimun \\ ho li.ul cut two culvoits across the load aud passed thew.itcr on to Mr Sclby. Mr tfelby if lie wislied to be ielic\ed of the water could pass it along to his neighbour in like niannei and thus the matter could be disposed of in a pioper manner, and without nnneccssaty inteiteience on the pait of the boaul. It was iurther agreed that two cuheits put down by Mr John Rnncinmn on No. 2, Cross Road be accepted by the Boai d a^ a benefit to the road. This was all the business dealt with.
