LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS. [BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
Arrival of the Hinemoa. Auckland, Friday Night. The Hinemoa, with Major Atkinson and Mr Mitchelson on board, arrived at 10 o'clock to-day, after a rough passage. She lay fifteen hours under the shelter of Mount Egmont.
The Premier. The Premier will address a public meeting at the Theatre Royal on Monday. Mr Mitchelson will perhaps also apeak. He will determine, before going south, whether he will stand for a city constituency. Both Ministers return south on Tuesday.
The Markets. Farm and dairy produce. —Wholesale : Butter, fresh, Is ; salt, Sd to lOd ; cheese, good local, 4d ; eggs, 2s 3d ; bacon and hams, provincial, 6d to 8d ; honey, in bulk, 4d.
