SIR JULIUS VOGEL. [PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Gisborne, Saturday.
Sir Julius Vogel has expressed his willingness to stand for the East Coast constituency if there is a general desire that he should do so. He says he has no intention of remaining permanently in New Zealand, but the position of the colony is such th.it he feels he might be able to do some service in Parliament during the next few months. Probably the principal of Mr Lock's supporters will induce him to wait till the general election in favour of Sir Julius Vogel.
