At to-day's wool sales 10,400 bales weie catalogued. The market continues firm. The report sent to the Press Association is as follows :—" In the wool sales, croso-breeda ha\ c improved a half-penny. Other wools .ire firm at the reduced prices obtained at the opening of the sales, buttlieieisanoccasion.il advance. One bundled and f out teen thousand bales have boon catalogued, and ten thousand withdrawn.
