T.illow.—Australian average beef 36s ; ditto mutton, 395. New Zealand mutton, prime quality, is realising sfd per lb.

A special despatch to the Press Association siiys :— Forty shillings has been refused foi several caigoea of Australian wheat now off the coast, and that price may be taken as the extreme value of cargoes now on the passage home.
