In the Legislative Assembly, last night, the vote for immigration was reduced to £<jO,OOO, owing to the present dearth of employment in New South Wales. [Received May 2, 2.30 p.m.] Mklbocrnk, May 2. Arrived, yesterday : Waihora, from the Bluff. Captain Lockycr has continued the command of the steamship Adelaide on the stiength of his certificate as second mate. The Victorian Navigation Board communicated with the Adelaide Marine Board regarding Captain Lockyer, but the Adelaide board declined to interfere.
