THE LATEST.

[by telegraph.— own correspondent.] Te Auohv, Friday Night. Crushing at the battery is going on steadily a-> usual, the stampers being employed, 20 for the Colonist, 15 for the New Find, and five for the Canadian. On the completion of the Canadian lot to-morrow, parcels are then to be put through for the F Claim, the Diamond Gully, and the Phoenix, by which time the Eureka will be in readiness to commence with two head. The tailings plant is now also in full swing, and will no doubt add considerably to the yield of gold at the end of the current month. There is no fresh mining news from the hill. The sharemarket is at a standstill.
