Rumoured Fall of Khartoum. London, April 14. Telegrams are to hand from Cairo stating that a rumour is current at Suakirn that Khartoum has fallen to the iebols, and that General Gordon is a prisoner in their hands. It has transpired that the English Government has submitted to the Govern« nicufcs of the various European Powers for their approval, a proposal for the solution of the present financial difficulties of ISgypt. The scheme offered for consideration includes a suggestion for the disbandment of the native army now maintained by that country.
