Levin, M.H.R. for Thovndon, Wellington, has resigned his seat. In his address to his constituents he says: " I had buoyed myself up with the hope that my health wou'd have boon sufficiently leaned to enable me to fulfil the obligations I owe you, but the effects of my se\eie illness of last year aie such that I find myself physically unequal to the labour and late horns of what is likely to be an iinusually mip utant and aiduous sesbion. After careful deliberation i have come to the conclusion that I cannot disregard the unqualiried warning of my medical attendant, and that it ib oiuallv due to you and to myself that I should vacate my .seat. "
