Last ccnut d.iy Mr Noithcroffc swore in the new J.P., Mesbii Hutchiuson, Rutherford, and W. Tavlor. The appointment of mure justices foi thib district was much needed, as it is frequently a matter of difficulty to get one to sit ou the bench in cases of emergency. By the appointment of more justice-, not only will the administration of the law be facilitated, but .is the gentlemen appointed aio experienced faimeis, their opinion on n\\ cases involving a piactical knowledge of fanning will be of gi e.it value, and m.itei i.illy assist the magistrate in liis duties. —(Own Correspondent.)
