TAWHIAO'S VISIT TO ENGLAND.

Tawhi vo and Rewi proceeded to Auckland by train on Saturday, accompanied by a few of their immediate followers. The object of their vist is to see Sir George Grey legarding the proposed trip to Lngland. Mr Dufaur took the party to the Opera in the evening, with which they were veiy much pleased. It is thought likely they will proceed home by the lonic, which will shortly leave Lyttleton. The Herald thinks the chiefs most likely to accompany Tawhiao to England are : — Taiaroa (M.H.R.), Henare Tomoana (M.H.R.), Henare Matua (Hawke'a Bay), Topia Turoa (Whanganui and Taupo), Moetara (Hokianga), Wi Hau (Bay of Islands), Rev. Wi Pomare (Bay of Islands), Paora Tuhaere (Orakei), Hone Molii Tawhai (M.H.R.), Ihaka te Tai (Bay of Islands.)
