Town of Cambridge West : Lot 510, 1 acre four perches, £30 15s, Bowman ; Lot 511, two roods 23 perches, £19 6a 3d, Bowman. Village of Rangiriri: Lots 1 and 2, 2 roods 3 perches, £23 7s, Armitage ; lot 3, 1 roo 1 11 perches. £d Us 3d. Snbuibs of Newcastle North : Lot 122, 4 acres, 1 rood 21 perches, £13 2s lid. Emigrants ex Ruapehu. All the emigrants ex Ruapehu have obtained engagements. There is still an unsatisfied demand for single women.
Sharemarket. Sales to-day : Level Cross, 3s to 3s Id ; Imperial, 16s ; Caledonians, lOil ; New Manuk.ni, 2s 9d ; Cambria, ls6d. Buyers: Waiorongomai, lOd : Canadian, 23 lOd. Sellers: New Find, 11s.
The Markets. At the market, to day, butter remains at last week's quotations, but eg<;s, being more plentiful, are quoted at Is 3d wholesale, and isGd retail. Southern flour, £11 5s to £11 150 ; local brands as quoted. Maize, wholesale, from 3s 61 to 3s 9d. Cheese in abundant supply, — good local realises from 4d to 3d, Canterbury produce from 5d to 6d.
