DUNEDIN, Thursday.
The interprovmcial cricket match, Ofcago v. Canterbury, has been fixed to take place on March 14, 10, and 17.
Friday. The Leaden aud Heled estate, comprising 2,1,000 acres of freehold, and 4320 of leasehold, in Southland, were sold at auction to-day, and realised £118,000. Mr .fas. Spencer was the purchaser. The pui chafers have failed to complete the purchase of the run sold by W light aud Stevens to-day, as previously telegraphed, so the transaction went off.
