To-pay was again fine and bright, but during the morning rather a fresh breeze was blowing across the range. The shooting was much better than on the previous day, and in Canterbury one repie^entativo made within one of the possible. The train arrangements for the volunteers are now much better than at the opening of the meeting. The following are the prizetakers :—: —
Johns, Thames ; McLeod, Auckland; Taylor, Auckland ; Sontage, Otago ; Woolley, Auckland; Coutt, Wairoa; Matthews, Masterton ; Hunter, Nelson ; Clemo, Thames; each 33. Floyd, Thames; and P&rslow, Auckland ; each 32, take £1 each. Counted out :— Okey, Taranaki ; Burns, Dunedin ; J. Haslett, Auckland ; Mitchell, Port Chalmers ; Scanlan, Wellington ; Coleman, Nelson ; McDonald, Wansranui ; Buckley, Christchurch ; and Cooper, Auckland. The Auckland and Wellington match will be concluded to-morrow evening. In the latter the first range, 200 yds, has been fired. In the Colonial prize-firing, to-day, the first prize was won by Leigh, an Aucklander. His score (49) is phenomenally good, being only one point below the possible number. He made five consecutive bulls-eyes, then a centre, and finished with four more bully-eyes. He was heartily cheered as he fired his last shot. The following is the prize list in the Canterbury match : —

Rdbe is, leading for the caibine championship with 114.
