Eighty pounds of good picked stone ban been taken out of the Phoenix claim to-day, and 401bs yesterday. The reef looks better than ever, a bank of gold showing from the top to the bottom of the drive. There are 140 ft of backs above the present face of the reef. There is nothing fresh from any of the other mines. Crushing gets on as usual at the battery, 20 head being employed by the Colonist, and 5 by the Premier.
