LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
Arrival of the Ruapehu. Auckland, Wednesday Night. The Ruapehu arrived from London after the fastest passage ever made to Auckland. She biings 56 cabin passengers, including 10 first saloon, 22 second cabin, and 24 third cabin. The list of first snloon passengers is as follows : — Misses Carnegy (3), Kcmion, Misses Billings, Kemion, Hairis, Hodgers, Dobson and Streetman. The passengers have enjoyed good health during the voyace, no serious illness ha\ ing occurred. Theie are 110 Go\ eminent immigrants on bourd, the niiijoiity being for this poit. Theie aie 11 mained couples with their families, 14 single men, 23 single women, and 12 childicn.
