Sunstroke. Several eases of sunstroke have occurred recently in this city, and one terminated fatally. The victim was a little boy named Jas. Mclntyre, whose parents resided at the top of the Parnell rise. Another serious case is that of a child of Dr. Richardson, These attacks are as£ cribed to sudden changes in the temperature, and not to the intensity of the neat of the sun.

Illness of Mr Sheehan. Mr John Sheehan is seriously indisposed. He has been unwell for some time past, but on Monday the symptons were so serious th it three doctors were summoned. The ailment is supposed to be the premonitory stages of apoplexy. He is residing at Mr John King's house. Dr. Haines is his medical adviser.

Sale of the Calliope Estate. The sale of the U.illiope estate, North Shore, to-day, was sxicoessful, ami realised £2,700.

Auckland Produce. By the steamer Te Anau, which left for Sydney last evening, Auckland merchants shipped 229 kegs of butter.
