The City Tramway. AnciCLAND, Monday Night. Messrs larkin and O'Buikn lia"e commenced the city tramway contract toJjWy. It includes a complete lound, from (Queen-street, along Wellesley-strect and •JPonsonby-road back to Queeu-scieet, XJollege Hill excepted. The rails are to %Q let in six inches of Portland Oment. rThe contract will be completed iv ten weeks.
Rotorua Railway. ' ' Two tenders were received to-day by Messrs Stewart and Hunter, for sawn t>uriri timber for rolling-stock for the Thames Valley- Rotorua Railway. The) Were : Buckland and Shepherd, 35s ; J. Milclejohn, 22s 6d per 100 superficial feet.
Found Dead. .' A man named Sam Golden has been •found dead at Warkworth. Little is .known of him in the district.
