[Received 13th, 11.41 a.m] The Calcutta Exhibition. Cvlcotta, February 12. TllK official list of awaids in the International Exhibition has been published. To colonial exhibitors the following 'gold medals are awarded :— "Victoiin, 6 ; South Austialia, 3 ; Tasmania, 4; New South Wales, 1. Silver medals are awarded as follows :— Victoiia, 12; South Australia, 1 ; Tasmania, 0 ', New South Wales. 7.
[Received February 13, 2 30 p.m.] Wool Sales. Londox, February 12 The fiist series of the years' colonial wool auctions opened to-day in the pres ence of a Luge number of home and foreign buyers to which a catalogue of 9, 100 bales was submitted. Fair competition was experienced for the vat ious lots offered, but the closing prices of last auctions ueie baitly maintained. The quantity of wool to lie oifeied during the sales is hunted to 400,000 bales. The series wiil close on the 19th M.ueh.
