London', February 11. The death is aiiiiouncpfl of Piofessor Thomas Chenery, the well known Oiientalist and journalist, ngud 58 years. Mr E\elyn Asliley (Colonial Undersecretary), m reply to a question, states that no decision has yet been come to on the leport of the Western Pacific Commission. The decision of the Sydney Convention h.ul, he said, matenally modified the position of all.urs. In the House of Commons to-day, Mr Btad'augh appeared at the table, and swore himself in as a member, and then withdiew fiom the Chamber. When he had le tired, Mr Gladstone rose and stated that, if the motion was carried, the Government would prosecute, and test the legality of Mi' Bradlaugh's admission. February 12. In tht House of Commons yesterday Sir Stafford Northcote moved that Mr Bradlaugh be excluded from the House and from the precincts of t'^e place, and the motion was adopted by a large iriajoi ifcy. Mr Biadlaugli was present dmiug the debate, and voted with the iniuonty.
