SAD ACCIDENT NEAR LICHFIELD.

On Sunday last a young man named Patlick McMaiim, son of Mr Cornelius McMiinub, Oxford Hotel, whilst riding in fche direction of Lichfield in company with three other men, was violently thrown from his horse. When picked up he was found to be insensible. He was immediately conveyed home, and not rallying a messenger was immediately despatched for Dr. Cubhney to Cambridge. The unfortunate young man, however, died at noon yesterday before the arrival of medical aid. An inquest will be held to-day. The sad occurrence is one which has been much felt in the district, the deceased being well and favourably known.
