CRICKET.

Waikato v. Auckland and Our Boys C.O.'s. We take the following report from the Herald :— The Waikato team met an eleven from the Auckland and Our Boys clubs in the Domaiu yesterday. Waikato went in first, and were all desposed of for 31, the trundling of Matheson and Mills being; very effective, the former's analysis showing 58 balls, 5 maidens, 10 runs and 5 wickets, while the latter's was 50 balls, 3 maidens, 20 runs and 5 wickets. The local team went into the wickets, and held possession until shortly before five o'clock, and had compiled the fine total of 207 runs. Robinson and Stafford made a stand, fairly collaring the bowling, the former putting together his second century against the visitors, while the latter played well for hrs 56. After the dismissal of these two batsmen the wickets fell quickly, with the exception of Hendry, who knocked up 20 very rapidly. The Waikato team started their second venture, and had lost three wickets for 58 whnn the stumps were drawn. Cotton and Case were batting very freely when play ceased. Appended are the scores : —
