TAOTAOROA ROAD BOARD.
Ths ordinary monthly meeting of the above body was held at the Duko of Cambridge Hotel, Cambridge, on Saturday lust. Present : Heron) N. Hunt (chairman), Brims* kill, and Ellis. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. ACCOUNTS. — Waikato Coal and Shipping Company, £3 4s 3d ; Waikato Times £1 4s ; Lowis and Simpson, 10* 3d; Ct. Wattam, £12 ; collector, £u 12s ; G. Giles (on account), £45. These accounts weie pa^cd foi payment. Ckkiht Balance.— The Clerk stated that the board was in credit £o(5 18s Gd. This was all the businebs.
The meeting of ratepayers relative to the opening of a cert.iin road in the district which was to have taken place lapsed through want of a quorum.
