Thi: annual meeting of the Te Awamutu Domain Trustee-, was held on Saturday. Present : Messrs. W. Tavloi 1 , (chairman). Winstone and Sloane. The minutes of the pre> 7 iou-> meeting wcie read and confirmed. Tlie draft of lease between tli3 trustee-, and the lessee (Mr. G. Kay), was read. Pioposed by Mr Winstone, seconded by Mr Sloane, that the draft of the lease be accepted subject to the embodiment therein of a clause binding the lessee to have at least five acres laid down in permanent pasture on or before the Ist January ISSS. — carried. — on the motion of Mr Taylor, seconded by Mr Winstono, it was decided to notifiy the lessee that the fencing and clearing accoidmg to the terms of the conditions be completed immediately or tne lease would not be gi anted. As two of the trustee have left the.district, thetnibtees decided to nominate two in their stead. — Mr Taylor was appointed chairman for the ensuing year. — Thisconcluded the business.
