The Strike. Tk Akoh \, Monday Night. DuniNG Saturday and this morning a large number, probably 50, of the miners on strike have left here for the Thames and elsewhere. Little or no work whatever is going on up the hill, except a contract or two, which are employing a few hands. A contract has just been let in the New Find for driving a low level cross-cut of 220 ft., which will give about 100 ft. of evtra backs on the No. 2 reef. To-morrow it is expected tenders will clo^e for 200 ft. of driving on the main reef in the Colonis>t low level.
