Yesterday.— (Before Mr H. W. Northcioft, R,M.) CIVIL CASES. Judgment was given for plaintiff in the following cases :— A. Wiighfc v. S. Cook, judgment debt ; A. Isaacs v. Hore Mere ; Cox; v. Schofield. In the case of Mary J. Murphy v. John Dore. the case was remanded till nevt couit day, to enable plaintiff to have her husband's name inseited in the summons. The cases, Hunter and Co. v. Schofield, for the amount of a dishonoured promissory note; H. W. Moore v. Kohukura ; and Robt. McVeagh v. Napier Te Rau were likewise settled iv favour of plaintiff, with costs. The case of Jno. Gwynneth as attorney for Titihina and other natives against Abraham Isaacs, occupied the court during the remainder of the day, but had not been settled when our reporter left.
