KIHIKIHI. THE TOWN DISTRICT.

Thk committee appointed yesterday by the Wai pa County Council, consisting of councillors Teabdale, Bruce (absent), and the engineer, Mv Sandes, met the Kihikihi Town Distiict Boaid last evening at the Star Hotel, when it was agieed that the main io«id through the town should run along Lyon-btreet to Whitmore-street ; thence along Whitmore-sticet to Oliverhtieet; tlience along Oliver-street to North-->tieet; thence along North-street to the boundary of the town district ; thence to Cambridge. The county council is to recoup the town board for their expenditure of some £28 in Lyon-btreet. DOMAIN BOARD. At the annual meeting of the Kihikihi Domain Board, held in the Town Hall yesteiday, Mr James Farrell was elected chairman for the current year.— (Own Correspondent, January 9th.)
