Mr AiiFiiKn Buckland's Weekly KePOKT. — At the Haymarket, on Friday lust, very little fodder was brought forward, but price were without alteration from past sales. There was a numerous attendance at the *>ale of the implements. All the rakes, one of the buggies, and tho luvneso were sold as satisfactory pi ices. The yaul was completely crowded with horse stock, and one of the most bi isk sales that has taken place for many months, and selleis were fully satisfied with the prices obtained ; nearly 100 hoi\ses were sold. At the hide and skin sale, on Tuesday, best hides brought from 2£d to 84d pei lb ; sheepskins, lOd to 3s 4d each ; tallow, 20-, to 2fts per cwt., and ,i numeious lot of small parcels of wool bi ought fiom Id to Gd per lb. At the third wool of the season, 2(54 bale& weie ]>itohcd. Pries pieviously ruling were fully sustained, and and with a .slight exception, all woie sold at the auction. At Pokeno, on Monday last, a much Luger muster of cattle than usual met with a good local demand, the greater number being bought by tho settlers in the neighbourhood. At J)riuy, on Wednesday, there was also a very l.ii ge number of cattle yarded, with a good attendance of buyers. Steers of every kind were in demand, t and fully maintained late prices. Dairy cows scarcely saleable, and female stock generally at low values. At Remueia, on Tluu.sday, daily cattle weie in limited number, but dull of sale. Stoic cattle in full supply and steady enquity at late values. Fat cattle in le-s than aveiage number ; those of good quality were freely competed for up to 25s poi lOOlbs., but second quality weio not moio than 20s the lOOlbs. The sheep maiket was fully supplied with slock of bettor- quality than usual, and a slight itnpiovomont on last week's values of fat sheep was obtained. Store sheep were also in good demand. Lambs of hist-class quality weio unusually numerous. Many bundled weie yarded, and brought fiom i)s to 11s each, and an average mai ket of good pigs met with .a good sale. Cattle : The supply was unexpectedly huge. T.\t beasts receded slightly in value, but othei desci iptions were unalteied in that lospect. The Newmarket yards wcie well tilled. Dairy cou'h were at the pievious week's values. Good steers had an upwaid tendency, and for heifers prices wei c m favoui of vendor. 22s (kl per lOOlbs was the top piice for beef, while infeiior was iclatm-ly lowei. Sheep. Less than an average number \\eic yaided at Newmaikct on Tuesday. For well fatted wetheis la^t week's ])iices \seic barely maintained, and mfeiior sheep wcie l datively lower. Lambs wcie yauled in excessively laige nmnbcis, and sold at fioni 4s Dd to 15s. Pigs v\cie moic plentiful, but sold fieely, good poikcis at 3d per Hi, live weight.
