Hunter and Co. report :— At the Cambridge Horse Sale on Saturday, 15th Uipfc.,, about 100 horses of all classics •wore brought fofwdrd. For riding horses there <was keen competition, but for draughts' ' there was little or none. L->AJa*ge exchanged hands. ;Good 'hacks; fronf £10 10s to £13 15s ; ponies from £3 to £0 10a ; medium draught hordes, from £14' to £20 10s ; wagonette, £21 103 ; saddles, £2 10s to £3 15s. At the Ohaupo Y.uds on Thursday, 20lh inst., the yards were completely crammed with cattle of all clashes. 1 ' There was a very large attendance of A .buyers. For good dairy cows and hteeis for fattening there was keen competition, also for boi'F there was a spirited demand, a large number of which was penned, and all Hold. We quote— Dairy cows, from £-1 to £0 10s ; calves and yearlings, from £1 to £1 10s ; H and 2-yr-old steers, from £2 10-, to £3 5s ; "3-yr-old *teevs, woll-bred, -fco to £T» 15s ; 4-yr-old ditto, £0 ; store cows, fioin £2 4s to £3 5s ; 2-yr-old heifers in good condition, £2 to £2 10s ; fat hcifeis> and cows, from £t to £7 ; fat steers, £5 to £7 ; fat sheep, 1 3s ; wagonette, £24 105. Mr J. S. Buckf, vxn held a sale of cattle at Ohaupo, yehteiday. There w.is a large .attendance of buyers, and about 300 head of cattle were yarded, and all disposed of at satisfactory prices. Owing to jMytorday not being the regular sale day, the supply of cattle was not as large as it would <»f herwise have been.
