■ Sik,— Some time ago theie appeared in your excellent and widely circulated paper a repoit, finm your Italian couc->pondent, of a bdU and concert at Jiuapuko, got up by, Mr Miller, teacher of the distuct .school here Your " Own," whose accuracy, both of information and of statement, is so wellknown, pronounced it to be a great success, and said that it was for the benefit of the Ruapuke Public Library. As I happen to be hbiaiian to that popular institution, I have' accordingly since .then ' been /on the outlook for a handsome donation from that quaitcr to swell its funds.
