CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday.

At a piivatc meeting <>f the Christchurch Pre-.bytery, to-day, the report of the committee of enquiiy on the case of the Key. J. W. Cico was given tn and adopted. The following decision was unanimously agreed to :—" That the Piesbytery finds, fiom the repoit leceived, that there is not the slightest pioof in suppoit of the scuoust chaiges circulated against Mr Oree ; that the Presbytery records its greatest satisfaction with tills result, and also its .sincere hope that good may be biought out of evil in this case; that the minihtei uil usefulness of Mr Cree may be increased, and that a conciliatory .spirit may be culthated by the people of hib charge, and by all parties."
