NAPIER, Sunday.
A sad boat aooldent, resulting in the death of throe men took place this morning. Captain Setton, of the ahip Pleiaderf, now lying in the bay, with a crew of four men, came ashore for tne first mate. There v/as a nasty rippling sea on the bai 1 , but they arrived safely, and started to return with a crew of six. A nasty sea was running, but the captain gave orders to start. and capsized her. Kroft and Captain Tonqu'm, of the barque Laugdtone, immediately started to rescue the men, and the pilot's boat was on the scene of thr accident within threo minutes, but only three mom, the captain and two A-B.'s, were saved, the first and third mate and one A. B. being drowned.
