October 30. The proposal of Tawhiao, the Maori King, to pay a visit to England lias been brought under the notice of the Secretaiy of State for the Colonies. Lord Derby has, it is announced, <iddrcs.sed a despatch to Sir William Jervois requesting information refunding the Maori King, and asking his opinion on the .subject of Tawhiao 's proposed visit.
