THE PREMIER AT AUCKLAND.
Wk learn from our Auckland morning contemporary that the Government steamer Hinemoa arrived at Onehmign on Sunday afternoon, having on bonrd Major Atkinson, Premier, and Baron Hubncr. Major Atkiuson "reached New' Plymouth overland from Wellington, on Saturday. Oti that day the Hinemoa had reached 2sew Plymouth with His Excellency the Governor, The Hinemoa left again on Saturday night with the Premier, and arrived off Kawhia harbour on Sunday morning, at daylight. The Premier went on shore and saw Hone te One and Bone Wetere. The natives were all imost courteous, but nothing like any political discussion took place. The Hine<moa left Kawhia harbour at half-past nine o'clock yesterday morning, crossed the Manukau bar at four o'clock, and got up to Onehunga about six. Major Atkinson is accompanied by Mr I). Maunsell, private secretary. The Premier will remain here for a few days, but will return to Wellington, and go on to Sydney by the steamer leaving Wellington on the 12th prox.
