NAPIER, Thursday.

The Agricnltuialiiiid Pastoral Society's Show concluded to-ctay. The show of sheep, in both merinos and longwools, was lcmarkably fine. Southern \isitois pronounce them the finest lot yet shown in New Zealand. Cattle weie also well lepresented. In hones the show was inferior, and the display of piodnce and implements was miserably small. In merinos Mr JDouglas McLean t6ok the majority of piizes; m the longwools Mr Tanner and Mr J. N. Williams divided the chief honouip. The Rev. S. Williams, Mr McHaidy, and Mi Ormond were tlie most bucceasful with cattle.
