THE FIRE IN THE THAMES MINES. [BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Thames, Last Night.
Mu Hicks, manager of the Caledonian mine, was able, thib morning, to get to the scene of the underground fire at No. 1 level, and found no paiticle of fire, or any iinokc, though a good deal of gas was in the le> el. He hopes, in a day or two, to have the mine quite cle ir again.
