WELLINGTON MEAT EXPORT COMPANY. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Last Night.
At the seco'id annual meeting of the Wellington Meat Evpoit Company, considerable discussion took plo.ee on the high charge made for shipment of meat pei ship Lady Jo^elyn. On a motion by Mr Krull, it w.is unanimously resolved that the amount of fc'JJSI 13 lid, which the directors recommended should be earned forward, be distributed pro rafti among the shippeis by that vessel. One of the shareholders icgretted nothing uas mentioned in the report respecting the export of dairy produce. He thought this branch -would not only benefit fauneis, but would be made a success. The chairman replied tint the company .had been in communication with the New Zealand Shipping Company, who said it would not pay to ship dairy produce unless they had a guaianteeof 100 tons, as it w oulil require a separate chamber fiom the one in which the meat was stoied. The report, with the above amendment, v.is adopted.
