LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Grog Adulteration. Auckland, Last Night.
The Court to-day dismissed the charges of adulteration of giog against two lioLelkeepers on technical grounds. Inspector Thomson said, in view of such decision, it was useless to bring such cases.
Gun Accident. A boy named "By drier, aged 1,1, went out shooting seagulls with a lad named Hughes, grandson of Mr Hughes, solicitor. Byririi-r's gun, which was loaded with marbles, accidentally discharged. The ball entoicd at Huifhes' shoulder, and travelled along his back, lodging s>omewheie about the lower part of his back. The doctors probed for it unsuccessfully. The boy complains of no pain except when moved, and seems to be doing well.
