A communication has been leccn eel from the Geiman Government, in leply to Mi Bevy's intimation of the recent Postal Conleicnce lHil at Sydney in May last. The Seutetiiiy of tho German Postal Department, writing on behalt of the Government, states it would be impossible to countenance the demand of the colonies for separate votes in the affairs of the Postal Union, and uigos that the question should be left to tlie vote of the International Convention, to be held next year.
