Pakis, August 23. A despatch to hand from Tonquin announces that the French forces captuiecltlie forts at Hue, after a bombardment of several hours' duration. The Anuamite loss is believed to be heavy. A commission has proceeded to Hue to treat for the cessatiou of hostilities with the native prince.
Calcutta, August 24. Intelligence has reached here from Cabul that a geneial rising of the Ghilziie tribes again&t the Ameer has broken out. The movement, according to the latest reports, was extending, and a strong foice ot the Ameer's troops has been despatched to the disturbed distucts.
