[press association.] /. • . \ Ddnbdix, Last Night. At the half-yearly meeting of the Colo- , nial Bank, the report anil balance-sheet ■ were adopted. The chairman, in his ad* dress, said there was a considerable in-, crease in the value of the banks' transactions. There was a large increase in the amount of deposits ; also in the amount of the r> accommodation the bank had been able to offer, and in no instance had the bank put anything like pressure on customers in legitimate business.
