THE PUKEKURA EJECTMENT CASE.
A Turning of the Tables. Thb cause celcbrc, Hori Pu.io and Ani Waata, and E. B. Walker, Jno. Grice, and a large number of others, the conclusion of which we chronicled a few days ago, and which for many weeks occupied the Resident Magi jtrate's Court, Cambridge, is not, it would Beem, to be relegated to oblivion for some time yet. A new aotion, in which the former defendants are to assume the roll of plaintiffs, will, before long, come before the public; the object of which will be the ejectment of the natives by law ; force having teen found not only ineffectual, but unpleasantly expensive for those who used it. Mr E. B» Walker is about to issue a writ of ejectment, and if the natives do not clear off the Fukekura and Puahoe blocks before a certain day, the law as in siich cases made and provided Will take jts course. No doubt the proceedings will be watched with much interest by the public generally. i
