CAMBRIDGE PUBLIC HALL.
The adjourned annual meeting of the Cambridge public in connection with the above hall was held on Saturday afternoon last. There was a very poor attendance, and the chair was occupied by Mr R. W. Sargent. The business of the meeting was the election of a committee for the ensuing year. The following gentlemen were unanimously elected : —Messrs Hewitt, Campbell, Brooks, Sargent, Asher, Soutter, Richardson, Thompson, and Houghron. At a subsequent meeting of the committee Mr J. P. Campbell was appointed chairman, and Mr Brooks treasurer. Mr Jas. Stewart was re-elected secretary. A vote of thanks to the chair terminated the meeting.
